Death of John Phillips
It
is with great sadness the society has to announce that John Phillips, a
former member of the band passed away last weekend. John played
trombone in the band during the 1970’s and took on the roles as music
librarian, chairman and committee member to which he served our society
proud. He became a life member for his contribution over the period he
was in the society and will be sadly missed. Our hearts go out to his
wife and family at this sad time.
The funeral will be 2 pm, Friday 6th October at Troon Methodist Chapel.
