On Saturday 23rd November, the band made the 600 mile trek to compete in the Scottish Open at Perth Concert Hall.
The band performed Peter Graham's 'Metropolis 1927' in a packed section of 16 fine bands.
The band came away with 7th place, and the award for 'Best Basses' - congratulations to James Sturges, Matt Julian, David Coad, and Zach Schofield-Lea!
The adjudicators gave the band much to reflect on, and we now look forward to our 2025 contest season.
