On Sunday 12th May, the band returned home from a fantastic weekend away in Blackpool, competing in the Grand Shield at the British Open Spring Festival.
The band put in a great performance of 'A Brussels Requiem', and came away with 9th place out of 20 in a very strong field of competitors.
A huge thank you must go to our musical director, Gareth Churcher, for all of his enthusiasm and hard work in preparing us for the contest.
