After a very successful concert 2 years ago at the Penventon Hotel in Redruth, we joined up once again, but this time at the St Michaels Church in Newquay. Both Camborne & St Dennis gave individual performances of 30 minutes each before joining together for massed bands.
Highlights of the joint items were Goff Richards arrangement of I'll Walk With God and the concert finisher of Howard Snells arrangement of Procession to the Minster, with Darren Hawken playing the church organ.
There is no doubt that this concert between the two bands will be repeated in the future, however Camborne & St Dennis Band will be joined by Roche Brass & St Austell Band for the "Bandtastic" concert at the Hall for Cornwall in Truro on May 2017. For more details and to book tickets, click here.
