As if in the blink of an eye, another year has passed and the time is here again for Cornish brass bands to take part in what must be the most famous outdoor contest around (apart from Whit Friday of course!).
With Camborne Town Band fresh from a successful trip to the Grand Shield in Blackpool, they will be looking for more success at Bugle, hoping to retain the Royal Trophy once again. With more bands competing in the Championship Section this year, this will certainly make the contest harder for the bands and more exciting for the audience.
With Musical Director, Kevin Mackenzie, unable to conduct this year due to work commitments, the band once again welcomes John Berryman in their quest to win the Royal Trophy for a record 38th time. Camborne would like to wish all competing bands the very best of luck.
