Busy and Exciting Time Ahead!

Today, the Camborne Town Band welcomes back John Berryman who will be conducting the band next week in Blackpool for their assault at the Grand Shield. John has conducted the band for the two previous appearances in 2013 & 2014, successfully gaining promotion in both years. The band will be welcoming back John shortly after to conduct them at the West of England Bandsmen's Festival in Bugle, as MD Kevin Mackenzie is unable to attend due to work commitments.

On 27th May the band will be joining forces with Johnny Cowling once again at the Princess Pavilions in Falmouth and on 29th May appearing in Gerrans, Portscatho after a very successful concert last year.

Once into the Summer season, the band will be appearing in Somerset, as well as a joint concert with the Cornwall Symphony Chorus and a trip to France for the Lorient Festival. More details about all of our concerts this year are on the events page.

There will be no time to rest as the band will be preparing for their assault at the Royal Albert Hall in London for the National Finals. This year the test piece is Spiriti by Thomas Doss. The band will be conducted by their Musical Director, Kevin Mackenzie.
